GPT Business MCP connector

Connect an AI assistant to your own GPT Business workspace. The read-only connector provides your business profile, tasks, appointments and individual records, plus business calculators and playbooks with draft templates. A GPT Business account and access to the business are required.

Connection details

Server URL: https://mcp.gptbusiness.io/mcp
Transport: Streamable HTTP
Authentication: OAuth with PKCE. No shared API key or client secret is needed for the registered Claude and ChatGPT clients.

Connect in Claude

  1. Open Settings, Connectors, and add a custom connector named GPT Business.
  2. Enter the server URL above. Choose sign-in required and your own OAuth client. Enter public client ID 301aee12-2f9f-4058-a08f-f9d81ae48bc6; leave the client secret blank.
  3. Sign in to GPT Business, choose your business, and approve read access. Leave record changes and phone calls unchecked.

Connect in ChatGPT

Custom MCP connections require access to ChatGPT developer mode. Add the server URL above with OAuth and public client ID 7345dbe4-1492-4cf5-9b6f-15f93ee0814f, with no client secret. ChatGPT may show a connection-specific callback URL that must be registered before sign-in. Contact support with that public callback URL if sign-in reports an invalid redirect.

What you can do

Try these prompts

Read-only scope

The connector described here cannot place calls, send texts or email, process payments, or create, change or delete records. Approving read access does not approve those actions. You can revoke the connection in GPT Business.

Store availability

The official MCP Registry entry is active. ChatGPT and Claude public directory submissions are being prepared; neither is approved or published as of November 2, 2026. Custom connector access and public store approval are separate.

Help and privacy

If a connection fails, check that your account belongs to the business you chose and that the assistant is using its registered OAuth client. Other clients need supported OAuth registration. See how connector data is shared and controlled, support, and security.
